JUIT Linux Users' Group is a group of individuals who came together because of their common love: The Linux Operating System. However, we soon discovered that we had much more in common than Linux: Open Source Society ideals, Strong love for GNU/FOSS, Common views about the privacy of the individual, and a desire to Change the World.
We share our knowledge about GNU/LINUX and other FOSS softwares through events and workshops. We look forward of establishing an Open Source Free World! We are also aiming at producing maximum numbers of GSoC.

We have no membership fee or recruitment drive. JULUG is a group and everyone who contributes is a member. There are no posts or heads among the group. Boasting a very active mailing list with discussions covering a wide-range of matters from technical, installation and configuration help to software copyright ethics. All you need to do is to interact with people around you, form communities, work on something and yes, Contribute your Part.
